is it rude to take out your anger on other people?

For the past 3 months i have been working a buttload of overtime hours at this stupid warehouse job. I am a seasonal employee and they treat us like dirt. I hsve been running on 3-4 hours of sleep all summer. I am honestly sick of it and want to quit but the pay helps with school. Anyway the other day my friend noticed my stress and asked me what is wrong and I yelled her telling her to f*** off and to just leave me alone. It really upset her but I was just angry. I haven't said anything, should I or just forget about it?

Yes it's rude. Talk to your friend and please apologize to her. She doesn't deserve to be yelled at. Even if you didn't mean it, it already happened and all you can do now is tell her what happened and why. If you care about her, then please talk to her. She will understand if you explain how you felt about work.

Yes it is extremely rude. My boyfriend is this way. I absolutely dislike it. I can definitely tell that when he's in a mood, it's going to be a long day of getting ignored and lashed out on, even when i didnt do anything. It sucks.
