Density = Mass ÷ Volume
To solve this problem, I will assume that a proton is shaped like a sphere. The following equation is used to determine the volume of a sphere.
V = 4/3 * π * r^3
1 kg = 1000 g
Mass = 1.67 * 10^-24 g
1 m = 100 cm
d = 1 * 10^-13 cm
r = 5 * 10^-14 cm
r^3 = 1.25 * 10^-40 cm^3
V = 4/3 * π * 1.25 * 10^-40
Density = 1.67 * 10^-24 ÷ (4/3 * π * 1.25 * 10^-40)
The density of a proton is approximately 3.2 * 10^15 g/cm^3.

Convert mass to grams: 1.67X10^-27 kg X 1000 g/1 kg = 1.67X10^-24 g
Calculate volume of a sphere:
V = 4/3 (Pi) r^3
r = 5X10^-16 m X 100 cm/m = 5X10^-14 cm
V = (4/3) (3.14) (5X10^-14)^3 = 5.23X10^-40 cm^3
Density = mass / V = 1.67X10^-24 g/5.23X10^-40 cm^3 = 3.2X10^15 g/cm^3
