Am I Just Horny?

I'm always saying that I want to date someone and I've been on holiday so I haven't seen anyone my age. We went to visit some family friends and I was told there would be people my age (4-17) so I was expecting teens, but not this GOD!

They are all really religious, but this guy I met was perfect! He was tall, a year older than me, cute, calm, smart, multilingual (like me) and funny too. He was a perfect gentleman, understood my points of view and challenged me in conversation without annoying me! At one point, one of the kids started crying and he comforted him and calm him to sleep... TO SLEEP! Why do I find it so attractive when people are good at caring for kids!? He was so perfect!

I really hate delving into peoples lives when they're religious (I respect their beliefs but I don't like churches, or praying or believing in a god myself) But he didn't push his beliefs down my throat like everyone else there.

Am I just being a horny teen? I don't do this to every guy I meet ( I don't do this to any guy) but was that me being attracted to him or me being horny? I don't have much experience with this...
