Why Should Hate Not Be Tolerated?

That's just silly. Hate is part of human psychology. It will always be with us. It is a presumptuous waste of time to attempt to police people's feelings, or their opinions, or their speech. Who are YOU to think you sit in a place so elevated that you can judge MY feelings, opinions or speech?

If you want other people to tolerate YOU, YOU should tolerate THEM - even if (or ESPECIALLY IF) you find their feelings, opinions or speech repugnant.

It's what humans do, we tolerate each other. It does not mean you have to like it. We tolerate babies crying and bad smells, it's just part of being a decent human being.

Hateful speech should be ignored, not protested or otherwise reacted to. Actions spurred by hate are crimes and should just be handled as crimes. The problem is that crimes fueled by hate if you're white are treated differently and with a higher degree of speed and higher level of punishment than crimes fueled by hate committed by blacks, Hispanics and other minority groups. That hypocrisy only makes tensions worse.

I hate it.

If you must tolerate anything it's hate. Peaceful protest is a good option. Unless it's a hate crime, you must act on those.

It should be tolerated if there is justification. People like Hitler, Putin, the North Korean President, President Assad of Syria, David Duke, and Trump deserve to be hated because they have done bad things. If some people hate people because of the color of their skin, then that sort of hatred should not be tolerated.

Excessive capitalisation should not be tolerated.

Ask the Trump boy... Trump just wants votes / support from ANYONE!
