why do so many americans seem to hate their president trump?

For one thing, he has no political experience- he became president aged 70, and prior to that was a billionaire businessman with a long history of corruption. Another thing is that he is perceived as a sexist president, once telling a female journalist that she "would be a pretty sight... on (her) knees" He is also ignorant of facts and prone to falsification, especially in regards to the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Paris Agreement. Furthermore, there is his tendency to describe all news articles or outlets that disagree with him as "fake news", which is definitely true with CNN. He is also regarded as a psychopath. Two other reasons- his narcissism and possible psychopathy- can be seen when, after an interview in regards to a white supremacist protest in Charlottesville where a woman was murdered, he was caught by cameras saying "I own a house in Charlottesville. ... Does anyone know I own a house in Charlottesville?" (Most of the white supremacists, by the way, voted for him.) He is also corrupt- he sacked the director of he Federal Bureau of Investigations when they were investigating him. Despite all of this, he is leader, and we should respect our government (Romans 13:1-7) regardless of whether or not we like them. God bless you.

A lot of that hate is down to him winning the election. That is normal for all winners. The president also declared war on the media. A large proportion of the hate was generated by them through heavily biased reporting. His policies did the rest of the damage.

There are others who have issues with him or disappointments, etc. Not in the same category, not for the same reasons.

One reason maybe because Clinton got More of the Votes from the People. Each state sends in it's Elec. votes for who ever got the most votes in each state. A much smaller amount. Trump got more of these votes. This has never happened before. So most of the people Did NOT vote for Pres. Trump.

They don't, the media hate him because their plans included a female president. Don't listen to the propaganda.
