Replacing brick column supports in basement?

Update:

Purchasing a home with 9ft tall basement, but dirt floor, getting concrete floor poured after closing. It currently is supported by the brick walls and brick columns underneath. Do I need to replace these columns with small steel columns, if so should I do this before or after floor is poured?

Update 2:

Do I need to hire an engineer or anything, any idea of a rough estimate per post to pay someone to do this?

Have a good foundation and big jacks. Make your final adjustments with big, galvanized threaded bolts.
