What sedation should I use for wisdom teeth removal?

I plan on getting my wisdom teeth removed soon and am wondering about the sedation for the procedure. I would choose to be knocked unconscious but I have a wild and irrational fear of IVs and needles. I would then choose for conscious sedation but I feel as if that might be scaries seeing as I'd be awake for it. If anyone has any previous experiences that might help me or if there's a way they can knock me out without an IV sedation let me know thank you!!

I used the conscious sedation. I felt nothing at all and was just very sleepy but not asleep. It's not scary at all. It makes you not care what's going on and it's totally painless. Go with that.
