All my friends in my mormon church call me a 'homo'! Is God okay with me or does he want me to burn? Someone please help me1?

Admit it...you don't really have any friends, do you?

Why do they call you that? Is it true that you identify as homosexual? Do you practice it or just identify as such? God loves you when you obey his teachings and commandments. Even if you identify as homosexual, but do not practice it, then you are fine; you have taken up your cross, or your burden, and are living as you should. In any case, it is wrong for your "friends" to taunt you like that. If they loved you as they should, they would be supportive and encourage you to remain strong in obeying the gospel.

Leave.... the Mormon cult.

Read the Bible instead and know the truth. Start at the book of John.

Romans 1:24-28

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Although God condemns homosexual actions, he doesn't condemn the person. You can't control how you feel, but you can control whether you act on these feelings.

As a sidenote, the hellfire teaching isn't scriptural. God is a loving god, and no where in the bible does it say he punishes people with fire. In fact, a bible account proves his disapproval of this. (Jeremiah 7:31). The bible also says:

"the dead know nothing," Ecclesiastes 9:5

"the dead are acquitted of sin," Romans 6:7

Why do they do that?

If you had read the Book of Mormon, then you would know that it is Satan that enticeth people to be carnal, sensual and devilish. The natural man is an enemy to God.

A true Christian is one who follows the teachings of Jesus - to love one another; be kind, loving, forgiving, compassionate, etc to all of creation. That's it. Nothing else. That is all that Jesus ever really taught. You don't have to do anything else to be a true Christian.

Jesus never advocated dogma, rituals or worship. And he was very against the dogmatic ritualistic priests of his time.
