Told her I like her?

So I've liked this girl for a while but her best friend and I used to be close and for that reason it's been difficult for me to see this going anywhere.

I recently told her how I feel and she responded well without freaking out or anything. She basically said if it's meant to go somwhere between us it will, she also said if our situation was different then she may have gone down this road.

Now since then, we have been texting and I feel like she's making more of an effort to speak to me but I don't kkow why or whether she is thinking things over
