If the earth was hit by an object bigger than earth and completely pulverized earth into nothing what would happen to the ghosts.?

Since we do not know what "Ghosts" really are, that question cannot be answered. If the theory that Ghosts are beings from a parallel universe (Non solid energy forms relative to THIS universe) is true, then NOTHING they do not interact with matter from this universe and are safe and sound in their OWN universe

Besides, the mass of Earth would not have been destroyed, just broken up and scattered in a wider area anyway. You cannot destroy mass of energy, just change its shape or forml

They would be increased by 6 - 7 billion. Huge endless queues at the astral McDonalds.

I suppose their God would have known and made arrangements for them.

If the ghosts know it's coming, I'll bet even the most stubborn door opener foot stomping ghost will head for that white light they've been avoiding.

The reality of the situation is that ghosts are not effected by gravity or the electro-magnetic repulsion of electrons. That's why they can float and pass through walls. However, since they aren't held by gravity or solid objects they can only remain in the vicinity of Earth by will power. Even the most driven ghost gets sick of it after a week or two and is left in the solar system's wake as it travels through space.

The same thing that would happen to the tooth fairy. You can't do anything to imaginary beings.

From the theoretical point of view, and according to some Christians, the earth will exist until the humans will. When the last human dies, there will be a great judgement day (?) and those saved by Jesus, will be resurrected from death. Jesus will come to earth, for the second time. Then, the saved souls will be given physical bodies (?)

So, basically, what I am trying to say, is.. The judgement day will be before the earth stops existing. So, all the souls (including ghosts) will go either to hell or heaven. I think, that it could be right to think that ghosts are the souls of people who are currently in purgatory. Therefore, it is unlikely, that any ghosts would exist after the earth had vanished.
