Why do online articles about dead actors use thumbnails of living actors?
I have constantly seen thumbnails of alive actors like Julia Stiles, the guy who played Urkel, and Jennifer Beal. All are still alive and kicking.

Click bait. They use pictures of living characters so when you see it you think "no way, that person died?" Just to click through and realize that person had nothing to do with the article.
