is putting your toaster on its side bad for it or dangerous? Or safe?
I'm such a weird person. I want to try grilling something in the toaster. It won't work if its upright. So I want to know if its safe to put it on it's side to grill something?

What like grilled cheese? No it's not safe. Several fires have started that way. There's toaster bags you can buy though for that kind of stuff which are safe.

if what you are trying to grill isn't dry bread or bagel and involves anything wet or that can melt, you will ruin your toaster and start a fire.

Toasters are not meant for grilling. They are meant for toasting. And they're meant to stay upright. If you want to grill something use a grill or skillet.
