Senior Citizens: Does One find looking at old photos of friends & family a method to recall good events of the past?

    Yes, that's what photos are for, I was just recently given a photo of my mother aged 16, she's now a month away from being 100, I had never seen a photo of her younger then when she was married.

    I also like looking at photos of my myself and my children when they were young, their mother is no longer with us, but it's great to look back at the good times we had together.

    For very many people, yes it is. Sometimes it can remind us of sad (or bad) events also though.

    Yes, when I look at myself age 13, I thank goodness I'm free of the constraints of childhood and I'm proud of my parents for being so good with me.

    Absolutely. I love doing it even though is sometimes makes me sad.

    I curse my self every time I do it for not being more diligent in labeling the photos, though.

    Yes, it works great for me, and fortunately we have vintage photographs passed down through our family that date as early as 1860. They are a treasure, and I have scanned them and saved them on a hard drive so they will no longer deteriorate.
