Would I be able to get rid of my TV cable and digital box with a good digital antenna? Thank you.?

    Yes, if you are close enough to local stations, with an indoor digital antenna, you should be able to get at least 8 local channels; maybe more. If you are out in the boonies, though, a rooftop antenna may be needed. Good luck.

    That depends on what you want to watch.

    An antenna (there is no such thing as a "digital" antenna) only gets your local broadcast channels which usually includes your local CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, Fox affiliates. There may be a few other local channels as well, such as Telemundo, etc.

    You will NOT get cable/satellite channels such as ESPN, Comedy Central, FOX-NEWS, CNN, HBO, etc. These are only available through cable or satellite subscription services.

    A lot of people who "cut the cable" will use an antenna as well as streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime, or others, depending on their particular tastes.

    yes ... you should have a roof antenna in the line of sight the tower ..

    usually a multi-band (vhf+uhf) antenna ...

    yes BUT all you will be able to receive are local channels
