What should I buy as my first car?
I have about $10,000 to play with.
I am not too concerned about the type of vehicle but, it cannot be a GM product, or Japanese car. I am between going after a Taurus SHO, Chrysler 200 s, and a 2004-2009 F-150 with the 5.4. I will take any opinions or suggestions on what to get. All I am looking for is the most power I can get. I am also not allowed to get a Mustang, thanks mom.

You are #37 in my First Car Trolls collection. You don't have $10,000, you are a teenager who became addicted to tobacco when underage. In June you were 17, but a month later you had turned 18 in March.

Ford Taurus' drive very nice, SHO or not. I'd look into a Taurus at any trim. I worked at a Ford Dealership and everytime I drove any type of Taurus it had a smooth ride and was responsive. Keep in mind all cars are different. Any car can give you issues but work great for someone else who owns the same car. Just test drive the car you'd like, do some additional research and go with your gut.
EDIT: If you like a car, can afford it and want it, BUY IT. I don't understand why the people in these comments are giving you a hard time. If you want a powerful, nice car, then get one. Everyone is into different cars, and view cars im different ways. Cars are typically used almost everyday by most people so if you spend so much time in a car then make sure YOU like it.

All of your choices are horrible ones. Between the fact that even when new, they all sucked, getting a ten plus year old one of them will mean that your mechanic will see the car more often than you do.
Plus, there's no way you will be able to afford the insurance for any of them. Your budget is far too low to cover that.
Morons drive cars for status. Smart people drive cars to get around to places and do so as efficiently and economically as possible. A late model smaller car would work best for you, from Ford Fiestas and Focuses, to Honda Civics and Toyotas. The fact that you refuse to consider such cars only shows the depths of your willful ignorance.
People who buy 'power' cars for their first car have a name: Crash victim.

The F 150 will serve you longer and you can see the road easier ..... and it will have good resale value

Hi so as new is always better than old as old cars come with needing more spare parts. as for the next part japanese build better and do last longer.

Guess what? Because you're a teenager you're going to need somewhere between $3500 and $5000 per year to insure a high power vehicle like you've mentioned, And, since you can plan on spending $1000 on repairs of an older used vehicle sometime within the next year, this leaves you with a budget of only $4000 to $6000 to buy a vehicle with. So why don't you stuff your immature teenage ego back into your pants and buy something cheap to insure and cheap on gas and maintenance and drive it until you're at least 21? It will save you at least a couple grand a year. Beggars can't be choosers. A Honda Civic is perfect for you.

start by looking @ www.edmunds.com - they have all kinds of info for 1000's of vehicles

None of the vehicles you mentioned are good choices, except possibly the F-150. Don't know why you are discounting a Japanese vehicle, but it likely means you don't know much about buying cars.

I think a Japanese car would be your best bet.
The rest of those are going to be expensive to insure & maintain.
