Should I report students in school that cheat?

A large portion of the top of my class (seniors in high school) as well as other lower ranked members of the class are in a group message where they share homework answers, quiz answers, even test answers. In fact, they often take photos of a test and send it to the group for the people who take the test later in the day. It angers me because a lot of the students are completely undeserving of their grades. Should I report this to my school? How will this affect them getting into college or affect their grades in classes?

yes, you should report them, if you have proof. they will likely have to take the test and or class all over again, or even suspension or expulsion. colleges may not accept them if they have a history of cheating.

get proof by taking a test, then if it cycles again, ask to join the group messages for the answers, then bring it forward to a teacher, counselor, or even the principle. if other kids are aware of it, and in the same boat you are, ask for their support too.

cheaters should be held accountable. you wouldn't want anyone getting something that you deserve if you knew the other person cheated to get it.
