I have a guy that is in my Bible study class that I like.?

I want to ask him out but he always seems to be busy. The few times we do hang oout we talk, joke, and i at least tease him but he seems to not mind it. I text him he always texts back. Weve done community service and church together with other friends . I really like him but i dont know if he likes me I cant tell if hes just being nice or if he is just taking his to to know me first. And yes he does know i like him, i told him and he said he appreciates it and right after i had asked if he still wanted to hang out and he said yes . Im just confused can anyone help?
