    South Koreans are stupid.

In 2002, President Roh Moo-hyun proposed the relocation of the capital and built a new capital in 100 kilometers south of Seoul. However, the Constitutional Court of Korea decided that it was a constitutional breach in 2004. So,the relocation was stopped.

Hi that would lead to being invaded as it would prove the south was scared of attack. so those who bully others win. so if you stick two fingers up to a bully he does not win.

Moving the capital doesn't mean that the 10 million people who live there will relocate.

They can't get a big enough fork lift truck.

    Obviously.

Have you ever tried just moving a city of 10 million people?

Even if they moved the capital to another city, there would still be a metropolitan area of 25 million people close to the border.

That's a bit like saying why don't you move England's capital to Liverpool or somewhere. It's virtually impossible the cost and disruption would be horrendous . It can't be done in one simple move, it would take a very long time.

    That always puzzled me too.

You can't just move the capital of your country.

That would be a MASSIVE and COSTLY undertaking.
