Can you legally drive out of state with a learner s permit?

    Please do not refer to it as a "permit." The government does not permit anything. They can only restrict. Also, government does not grant rights.

    They can call it whatever they like, but that does not mean it is technically accurate. Vocabulary and words are influential, which is why government uses the word "permit."

    I would assume not, should be something a quick Bing search could answer for you though. If you are too lazy to Bing and just want my answer instead, I would suggest that since you need a licensed driver in the car with you anyway, just have them drive while you guys are out of state.
