In Baseball, how many players do playoff teams carry?

Update:

I know they're allowed up to 40 players in the last 2 months of the regular season.

    25 but they can be changed if a team goes to the next round.

    25. they have to be the same throughout the round. but, you can change your roster before the start of each round.

    The 40 player maximum starts September 1, but playoff teams are only allowed 25 players. Those on the playoff roster must have been on an MLB active roster on August 31 unless they are replacing an injured player that had been on the 25 man roster on August 31. Even then, they need to petition MLB to put the replacement player on the playoff roster.
