How does a person find someone traveling to the same city as they want to go and then arrange to go with them?

maybe people dont do it anymore but in the past I have had friends find someone going or passing through where they wanted to go and they checked them out etc and paid them and traveled with them. A friend wants to go from Fresno to San Bernardino, but I see the flights are over $700.00!! hqahahahaha that is insane for 285 miles. anyway thanks for helping

    I don't know if they still do, but most colleges have a bulletin board for students offering/looking for rides.

    Amtrak costs $33 each way

    Greyhound costs $16 each way

    Put a notice on FB or bulletin boards that she needs a ride.
