Is she leading me on?

So there’s this girl I like and she knows how I feel but our situation is complicated cos her friend was close to me once and liked me. 
Now since I’ve told this girl how I feel she said if something is meant to be it will be. But since then we’ve been talking a lot. I get the sense that she likes my company and finds me funny but I’m don’t know if she will ever feel the same as I do. 
She always laughs with me, playfully hits me, we stay up til 2am on the phone and text everyday. 
She even told me that likes my company.

I was in the same situation. I liked this girl and she knew it but she only liked me as a friend and told me maybe we can be more in the future. Our situations are probably different because I was doing her countless favors so I'm certain she was leading me on. Especially after we went out for a week and she said she would rather we stay friends but I kept pursuing her because I taught she just wanted to get to know me more. A true friend would be honest with you and tell you if she wants to be with you or not instead of lying to you to try and spare your feelings. I would ask her if she thinks you and her will have something more in the future. Ask her now because if you wait you will most likely be even more hurt when she declines. I know I was which caused me to burn our friendship bridge. Good luck

Honestly, I don't understand why you're afraid. Obviously she likes you (she even told you!) It's time for you to take her out, otherwise this will go on forever and you won't be happy because you know she likes you but still don't have her.
