Christians: Why do you believe the claims in the Bible?

Simple answer: because they want to.

They usually give inane reasons like:

"I saw a light. It was unexplainable. Now, let me explain it"

...and have no idea of how idiotic they sound.

I believe in the claims of the Bible because I was once they are very religious person and I fell away from God and became an atheist and did everything that I so pleased after falling flat on my face and losing absolutely everything that I own I turned back to God hey mercifully accepted me back and now my life has improved a million times over so I know that God and the Bible are true you cannot pay me 15 billion dollars to go back to the Godless way of life

For most of them it was a lack of education but fear, ignorance and indoctrination also played a part.

God showed me the Bible is true. I admire those who believe without seeing.

We believe because it's the truth.

Just being here eating, breathing, sleeping, living, dying is enough for me.

I believe in whatever god my mommy taught me when I was too young to question the nonsense because I was never taught how to exercise healthy skepticism and logic.
