Is my ferret lonely?

I just adopted a 6 week old ferret about a month ago. I know ferrets are typically happier in pairs and im worried my little guy is very unhappy. When hes around humans ALL he does is try and bite (its playful but its also constant) we cant even touch him without him biting. I have been consistent with training him not too but not much luck. We also recently moved and whenever hes in his cage all he does is claw at it and bite the bars and try to get out ... he does play with his toys but not for long and kinda just goes off and does his own thing when hes out of his cage (2-4h per day) i feel like he should be out of his cage for longer, however it gets frustrating when all he does is bite. Id my ferret lonely or is he just an asshole? Lmao

Yes, all ferrets prefer company, and are unhappy alone.

"Adopted"? Shelters never adopt ferrets that young. You BOUGHT a ferret.

You don't have a CLUE about ferrets so never should have gotten this way too young kit. The very best thing would be for you to take him to a ferret shelter and surrender him.
