If a person served 2 terms as vice president, can they run as president in the future?

    Yes. There are term limits for president but not for vice president. The reverse however would not be permitted. If someone has served 2 terms as president they could not be elected as vice president since the requirements for VP include that they must be eligible to be elected president. A person that has served two terms as president is not eligible to be elected president.
