At what stage would you consider a zip to be undone?
Semantics: it occurred to me that even when a jeans zip is fully zipped, you can often see the brass bits to the sides of the slider. And some designs of jeans mean a slightly less than full engagement of the teeth is inevitable.
(One particular brand's jeans are notorious for this to the point that it has been suggested that the brand owns a copyright on the slightly unzipped design...)
So obviously this leads to the question - at what point is a zip unzipped?
I have attached a montage of 9 photos from
top left - as far up as the slider will go
(let's call this photo 1)
to bottom right - as far down as the slider will go
(let's call this photo 9)
At what point would you think 'those flies are undone'?
Each stage represents a 1/8 unzipping - so 0%, 13%, 25%, 38%, 50%, 63%, 75%, 88%, and 100%.
It has been suggested (below) that my photo doesn't help the question. Feel free to ignore the photo and answer in your own way - it was just there as a (perhaps unnecessary) aid to defining an answer.

I'm going to vote on my own question and say I would start to think they are undone at photo 4 (middle row, left), by which time the zip is 38% undone.
