Sleeping in a tooth Surgery/Operation?

I have a very bad collection of teeth, All my molars in particulars. They seem to be broken and the top part is completely open. My 3rd molar has been bothering me. Is it possible to get a surgery about fixing my all my molars with Rooth Canal Treatment or something while being put to sleep? What is it called. I don't want to feel pain, I'm scared of needles and i have a bad habbit of slightly fighting/being extremely frightened the dentist's hands going onto my mouth. I've seen shows and movies do operations to the patient where they were put to sleep.

General anaesthetic is the word you're looking for - when you sleep through your surgery. It's an option - I had four impacted wisdom teeth removed at once and they knocked me out for it, so it's definitely an option for dentistry.

However, your regular dentist will not be able to do it, though they would be able to refer you to a specialist.
