    I am a US southerner and I don't understand the appeal of fried chicken and waffles. I don't like sweet and savory together. I would rather have fried fish and fries, with some catchup and tartar sauce.

    The first time I had it, I wasn't expecting chicken and waffles to be a good combination, but it was very good.
