what is the formula to convert 400g of flour to cups?

    Weigh the cup of flour, subtracting the weight of just the cup, then convert grams to pounds. There are 32 grams per ounce and 16 ounces to the pound.

    Here's the conversion factor I found for flour:

    100 grams = 7/8 cup

    So just multiply:

    400 grams = 4 * 7/8 = 28/8 cups = 7/2 cups = 3½ cups
