What are some good side jobs for a musician?

I really want to play in a touring band. I have come to understand that getting a good amount of money can’t always be acquired from playing in a band alone. what’s a good job to do on the side?

Construction, like building sets for theatre companies. If you have experience in lightning or sound thats another good way to earn money. And it also spills over into music as well. Landscaping because its usually seasonal work and you can usually work job to job. There is not a lot of commitment. Restaurant work like busing tables/waiting tablesor bar tending. Any jobs where you can drop what your doing at a moments notice. If your really good at the instruments you play, and you have the ability to teach people, music lessons can be a good and rewarding job. There are lots of jobs out there. And if you get into a band that is really good, you could potentially turn that into a career.
