Why do people hate the name of Jehovah?

The most wicked Adversary, Satan the Devil, caused men and angels to join his opposition to God and man. Satan first showed his opposition in the garden of Eden, where, through cruel and underhanded action, he led Eve and then Adam into a course of rebellion that brought sin and death upon all mankind. In the courts of heaven Satan displayed his antagonism, charging Jehovah with bribing Job for his loyalty, a charge which became an issue of universal importance.—Job 1:6-11; 2:1-5;

I would like to add those that are of this world and unbelievers will of course be like the ruler of this world (1 John 5:19) We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. This would mean that all false religion symbolized in the Bible as the mother of prostitutes (harlots) Babylon the Great (Rev 17th & 18th chapters), all world governments symbolized in the Bible as the scarlet colored wild beast with 7 heads meaning (7 World Powers) Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome and Anglo-American.- Rev 17:7) In vs eight we see the image of the wild beast, that is a government(power-kingdom) that comes into power, then is not yet rises again only to go into destruction! It says was, but is not then it is to go off into destruction. This describes the League of Nation formed in 1919/20 (it was) but then is not, then it ascends out of the abyss as the United Nations but look at its future according to the Bible. This will be during the Battle of Armageddon, not by human hands but by God’s hand!

2 Corinthians 4:4 says) among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

It is Satan that has blinded their minds and it is Satan that has caused them to hate using the true God’s name.
