Nope, never. There's a reason for writing expiration dates!

Milk doesn't "expire". That is a sell by date.
And yes, I've used milk way beyond that date, particularly buttermilk. I've also tossed milk way before that date if it's gone off. The sell by date is not a magical date that directly corresponds to the usability of the product.

The date is NOT an expiration date.
The date is a use by, sell by or best by date.
The only food that is required to be pulled off a shelf (in the USA) is baby food and formula.
If the milk has been stored properly it should be fine to use for several days past the date imprinted on the container.
If it smells good, tastes good it is "safe" to use.
If it is spoiled or "gone bad" toss it out. In most cases the way milk is processed it is not like it used to be when milk sours it was used for a variety of things. In most cases now the milk "spoils" rather than sours.

If you mean milk that has passed the Sell By date printed on the carton, of course; if it still looks good, smells good, and tastes good, guess what? It's good. If milk has soured, I use it in baking recipes.
Answer this question: Would you drink milk that was still within the Sell By date, but had chunks in it, smelled bad, and tasted sour? God gave us our senses for a reason; so we could use them to determine if foods were ok to eat or drink. It seems that 'common sense' isn't so common these days.
