One guy pranked the city I live in (Toronto). He called the police saying he saw some one with a gun in an abandoned building down town (right around rush hour too), the police went to investigate. They closed a whole block of the city which held up traffic for hours and they locked down near buy buildings so people couldn't go home.
Now that I think of it, I don't think it's funny at all for people to be stuck like that for hours not knowing what's going on. I hope they catch the jerk that pulled it off and wasted every one's time.
