In reality, could there be aliens on another planet that could fly like Superman? Could a much more advanced species fly? Without wings?

How would Science explain that?

If they didn't possess Mass, a lot could be possible

    Flying for a start

It would be also possible to achieve the Speed of Light with little effort

    Don't knock it

Depends on many things, but you may be entering into the realms of science fiction in the way you phrased your question.

They might have a way to cancel out their MASS or Gravity. But HOW is a Mystery. I would surmise for Sci Fi- purposes, high frequency, modulated electromagnetic fields generated by the nervous system, that might for an anti-G effect.---As some Scientists are rumored to have done ELECTRONICALLY with flying craft.

The only possibility I can thnk of right now would be balloon-like aliens which contain a gas lighter than the atmosphere they're in, like hydrogen in air. A hive mind could exist which functioned as a whole swarm or flock of flying organisms. If a planet had a fairly dense atmosphere, there could be bird-like aliens with brains large enough to be intelligent. Parrots and crows on this planet are pretty close.

No, a gas filed organism perhaps but it would not be human form and be only capable of flight in it's natural environment.

Not according to the laws of physics...

Gonna have to ask for more theoretical rules,,, what kind of gravity, what kind of atmosphere (WE could fly in Titan's soupy atmosphere and weak gravity) also, how do you define flight/levitation??

    no, dont think so

Originally, Superman couldn't fly. He came from a planet 70 times as big as earth, so he was much stronger, in the way ants and fleas are very strong on earth, in relation to their size. An ant can lift 70 times its own weight, for instance.

So Superman was 'more powerful than a locomotive', 'able to bend steel in his bare hands', and 'could leap tall buildings at a single bound'. He could jump hundreds of feet in the air, but he couldn't fly.

As Superman developed, that is, as the story developed, he was given lots of other powers--flight, x-ray vision, heat vision, super hearing. Whenever the story called for some special power the writers gave it to him because it moved the story along. Over the years we've seen this same 'powers inflation' with vampires, zombies, etc.

And even with flying, Superman in the 1950s TV series would fly by running and jumping into the air. By the time of the movies in the 80s, he simply rose off the ground (which I thought was fake). In one of the Christopher Reeve movies he flew out into space and reversed the rotation of the earth to turn back time! That was another new power he'd never had before, until the story called for it.

So how could you fly without wings? Anti-gravity? Hidden cables? Being lighter than air? It wouldn't be the way Superman flies. You still wouldn't be able to fly around the earth several times a second to reverse time. 8^)

In reality, given the size of our universe, and the distinct possibility of multiverses, there are probably a vast array of situations out there.
