There is a place that I go to, not often maybe once a month or every other month.
they have what looks like a large donut hole that they then inject either lemon filling into or a cream filling. Since it is a cake type donut the filling sort of bursts out of the donut.
The only other ones I like are made once a year right around Lent. Paczki . The bakery I like to get them from makes some outrageous flavor fillings. Not just jelly filled, and not just prune we are talking cream filled, fruit filled and some great flavors. (peanut butter and chocolate, Baileys Cream filled, Amaretto and the list goes on and on)
