Does anyone have experience with GEICO for an auto insurer?
It's time for me to renew my policy with Travelers, but after checking for a quote, I discovered that I could save a lot of money by switching to GEICO. Their rep said the policy would be almost identical to my current policy, but at $48 less per month. Thank you.

I have used Geico for the past 4 years or so. I had hail damage to my vehicle while on vacation in Jun. Upon returning home in July I reported the damage to the vehicle to Geico.
The representative decided my vehicle was totaled and would not be worth the cost of repairing the vehicle. I was explained that I could keep the vehicle and be issued a salvage title to my vehicle.
I checked around to find the cost of repair to the vehicle, with no success.
In September I decided to turn the car in and get paid for the vehicle. I did so. The same day I turned the vehicle in, I was issued a check on the spot for the vehicle.
When I originally changed insurance carriers my premiums were reduced by about $150.00.
My experience with Geico has been positive. Ia m very pleased with the cost of my insurance and the services provided.
