Piano pros: What is the best way to learn a song?
I am a guitar player for years but I've always wanted to play piano. I know only one song and it is very basic. I learned it by ear, it was "Forever more" by side A. The time I want to learn River flows in you, I used Syntesia and even at very slow tempo, I could not keep up. I decided to learn it by ear instead but I want your opinions. Should I learn how to read sheet music and learn theory? Or just play by ear? thanks!
