Does a physical therapist have any discretion when it comes to a diagnosis and treatment?

I have been diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy due to a herniated disc in my C7-T1 boundary. But the problem is that my neck isn t in any pain--it s my mid and lower back. The physical therapists seem to only want to work on my neck and flat out refuse to address the rest of my back because the prescription is for cervical radiculopathy.

Do they honestly have no discretion in this matter?

While they fiddle and diddle around and drain your wallet you should get an inversion table and use it. Myself and MANY other people will not be without after using one. Too many people are paranoid or timid to try something new especially when the profiteers in the industry will say no for the only reason being a reduction in their profits!
