1) he was impeached. He just wasn't removed from office.

2) he was impeached not for his BJ, but for perjuring himself and using his position to try and cover up for his indiscretions.

Personally if Clinton were going to be tried for things, it should have been one of the women he groped or raped. I don't understand how Dems were okay with sweeping that all under the rug.

Not to mention the taxpayer money that went to settling harassment charges.

NO it was not about him having sex in the oval office, it was because he lied about it. His statement was, "I did not have sexwith that woman", which was a lie and he had an impeachment hearing because of that. Wish people would get their history straight.

The subject of Monica Lewinsky came up because he was being sued by Paula Jones for unwanted sexual contact. He previously had unwanted sexual contact with numerous women, including raping Juanita Broderick when he was the district attorney in Arkansas.

I'm totally on board about how Roy Moore and all them are terrible, awful people, but let's not forget that Bill Clinton also has at least four women who've accused him of sexual assault and at least one rape accusation. Again, not disagreeing, but maybe let's not brush him aside as harmless.

The Senate chose not to vote on removing him from office. (Largely because it would have made Gore the incumbent, giving him a decided edge in the upcoming election, that the GOP barely won....Had Gore been POTUS, he almost certainly would have won the 2000 election.)
