do atheists think the mind is a physical object that can be picked up and cut apart?

Update:

thats the impression i got from the answers to my last question /question/index?qid=20171...

interesting how when i ask how the mind can move the physical world, atheists act like the mind is physical, but when i point it out they say the mind is not physical. make up your mind.

NO, they have never "seen" their brain, therefore it doesn't exist.

No, that would be the brain.

Did your education not progress to the subtle difference between the brain (which can be seen, felt, observed and so on) and the mind (which is a concept that has intrigued philosophers and religious people since time began)?

I guess your attractive cousin Mary-Beth never got that far when she was schooling you at home.

I don't speak for other atheists, who would certainly not necessarily be experts on the mind. Why you'd direct this question at atheists is anyone's guess, but it smacks of dishonesty.

I know from my studies that the brain produces the concept we refer to as the mind (or consciousness). Consciousness ceases at brain death.

@ Your update - it's interesting how you presume the opinions of a few people on this site, who happen to be atheists, as the position of all atheists. More self-serving dishonesty on your part.
