I filed Chapter 7 2 werks ago. I wanted to reaffirm my car loan; Now it showing as closed on report. Does that mean it won’t be reaffirmed?

I filed Chapter 7 2 weeks ago. I wanted to reaffirm my car loan;now it’s showing as closed on report. Attorney told me to keep paying. Does this mean it won’t be re affirmed? Will they come take the car?? The car is worth 4000 I still owe 5700 had 11 payments left. It’s says closed then chapter 7 Bankruptcy,

    You have a crummy lawyer, you needed to see if they wold reaffirm your loan (they do not have to), and if you have already filed bankruptcy, it is too late now

    And they do not have to accept your payments now and probably won't

    They will be picking up the car and to be honest it is your lawyers fault he should have at least contacted your auto lender, but it seems he didn't do that unless you failed to put that loan in your pre-bankruptcy work sheet

    Don't reaffirm, and yes keep paying. They just can't demand a debt that's gone

    Yes they will take it, but they will give you the remaining balance you owe and you can get new car
