How to name thioester with a prefix? E.g carboxylic ester would be name alkoxylcarbonyl. So for thioester, would it be alkyl thiocarbonyl?

    Strange names. I'd think RCOSR' would be a "thioalkyl carbonyl compound" while RCSOR', a Thiono ester, would be the alkoxy thiocarbonyl.

    In the IUPAC system esters are named as alkyl alkanoates. Eg methyl ethanoate CH3COOCH3. Thioesters always have the form RCO-SR ie they contain a C=O link and a C-S- link. CH3COSCH3 would be methyl ethanthiooate which is a mouthful so usually it is called methyl thioacetate much easier to say.
