For the reaction C(s) + O2(g) => CO2(g) ΔHorxn = -393 kJ

How many grams of C(s) must be reacted to release 275 kJ of heat?

Pls explain thanks! The answer is 8.40 g but how do you get that?

    (275 kJ) / (393 kJ / mol C) x (12.01078 g C/mol) = 8.40 g C
