Living in the land of 4 seasons. Wet Dry Wet Dry. myself. It has to do with the trade winds. You get the westerly trades that bring in damp cold air from up north near Hawaii. This makes it rain & turn cold. Sometime down to the low 70s f. Very cold. Then your hot dry season. Then the Easterly trade winds. Once again rain. Turns very cool outside. Sometimes into the mid 70s f at night. Unless you are having a China special. The year cold air dropped down from Siberia across China & hit the island so hard it snowed above 5,000 foot one night. They called it the 100 year snow. Such weather is near unsurvivable. Not enough cloths to put on or blankets in the house to stay warm. We were lucky out LP. held out & we have a stove with oven in the house.Only thing that saved us.And we are a good 100 miles northerners were I live. So I know how you southerners feel about this. Winter here now.
