How to remove the battery on a Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 model not the 2016 model?
My phone turned itself off and is now stuck on the Samsung logo. I can't turn it off manually so I can't boot it into safe mode or use any other methods I've found. I read that the J3 is good because you can remove the battery but all the tutorials to do this don't help as they're about the 2016 model which is different to my 2017 model (there's no notch in the top left corner for me to take the back off). Does the J3 2017 actually have a removable battery at all or should I just leave it for a few hours then try and charge it up?

The battery isn't removable.
Press and hold power and volume down until the phone reboots. Works for many Samsung phone. You can also try power and home or power and volume up.

Daft question is why you can't turn it off! Unless you've damaged the off button you should be able to turn it off and then reboot into the recovery mode. If you've bust it, then untill you get it repaired it's going to stay bust!
