Windows 10 updates?
Why does updates for Windows 10 take so long to download ,my machine was Windows 7 , and I took the free Windows download about 18 months ago, wish I had not bothered . this is not my only gripe with Windows 10, but we live & learn .

There are 2 possible answers to your question, memory capacity and speed of your PC. Addressable memory capacity is dependent on whether you are running 32bit or 64bit software. Speed is dependent on the motherboard chipset, processor CPU clock frequency and registers the CPU contains.

Thanks for answers , so its not a huge problem.I am to old to bother . I only use my machine for Spotify , E-mails, , & checking information on the weather etc.( maybe I should not have given Spotify a free comment .)

you probably made the right decision … upgrading from win-7 … now the only question being how long until you upgrade to a new computer?

I agree with Robert. You could have memory and/or speed issues.
One other thing. If you really don't like it and would prefer to have windows 7 back, you can back up all your files and restore your computer to factory settings. This would remove windows 10 and restore windows 7. It would also clean up everything and your computer would most likely run much better.
