The software is set up that after a week no one can answer a question, the answer line disappears. So if a question is unanswered after a week there will be no answer after that, so why leave it in there to clutter things up.

If there are no Answers in a Week then its Not Likely gonna get a Answer so Yahoo removes it from there Database to keep it Clean

If unanswered after 7 days they can't be answered, so yahoo deletes them

To free up space on the server.

To save power and memory space on the hard drives of the server computers.

However, just because house keeping computer programs are SUPPOSED to delete unanswered questions after 7 days does NOT necessarily mean that always happens, because those computer programs can glitch. Of course if you want to delete your own unanswered questions BEFORE the 7 days are up,good for you As long as thyourq questions have no answers, you CAN delete them.

They do not and will not try and know just how to handle copyrights, as that really is what it is all about. EVERY FILM, NOT ONE WRITER ACTUALLY WROTE A MOVIE and that is fact found in EVERY media Q and A site.
