Job application questions?

Why is that I didn't have interview if I applied for a different job position in a different group but in the same business division and same company

    They have other applicants they think are a better fit for the job

    Someone else - probably several people - were better qualified for that position.

    Probably because they received applications from people more qualified for the position. An application does not guarantee an interview - only the top, say, 10 candidates will be interviewed due to time, cost, etc.
