Banana spiders?

So, in my health class, we had to learn how to use a condom and we put them on bananas. My friend and I got 4 bananas and one of them had a spider egg sac on it, and it got peeled off and baby spiders went everywhere. They were tiny and brown, almost like a see through brown? What kind of spiders lay eggs in bananas, and what kind of spiders could these be? Also, I live in Nebraska, USA incase that helps you narrow down the species.

First you can relax, your spiderlings are harmless. This does happen and these are not the big dangerous spiders you hear about from south America.

The store or warehouse the bananas came from also has spiders and one happened to make an egg sac on the banana.

One of the local sort of spiders. I would have to see an egg sac not damaged or the spiderlings to even guess what spiders.

I have to guess the sac was a flat pillow sort of web. Perhaps jumping spiders or one of the running crab spiders.

Sad part is unless there are lots of scale insects for these spiders to eat, they are just going to die in a couple days.

As for your fear, that is a whole different problem you have to address.

Personally, I would have loved to see all the baby spiders, probably collect a few to raise, but this time of year, I have no idea where I could come up with something like aphids to feed them.

Ever see a baby jumping spider up close?:
