If you aren't late, then they can't do anything at all.

No they don't want your car, they want the money. That is why hopefully the custodial parent will get the money taken out of your check so that way you can't get behind again because there is no way of telling how much your car will get at auction and they want you to be sure and be responsible for you obligation.

Go ask your attorney. He's being paid to give you that information- here, you are asking random strangers some of whom are on school vacation. And bythe way, if you have anything called "arrears", you are already late.
